Shipping & Returns

At Caracola Living, most pieces are created in small batches and many are finished by hand in my studio. Because of this, production and shipping may differ slightly from large-scale retailers — but it also means each piece receives careful attention and craftsmanship.

Below you’ll find information about production times, shipping, and returns.

Production & Processing Time

Whenever possible, items are shipped from available stock for immediate dispatch.

If a product needs to be produced, please allow up to 3 weeks for production and shipping. This timeframe includes:

• fabric printing (approximately 1.5 weeks)
• sewing and finishing
• packaging and dispatch

You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number once your order has been sent.

Shipping Rates

Orders are shipped via PostNL through MyParcel.

Netherlands
Free shipping on all orders.

Estimated delivery time: 1–2 business days

Europe
Flat rate shipping: €5

Estimated delivery time: 3–7 business days

Outside Europe
Shipping rates vary depending on the destination. Please contact us before placing your order to receive an accurate shipping quote.

Delivery times depend on the postal service and destination country.

Customs & Import Taxes

For orders shipped outside the European Union, import duties, taxes, or customs fees may apply depending on the destination country.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are determined by local customs authorities.

Handmade Pieces

Many Caracola Living products are handmade or hand-finished, which means small variations may occur. Slight differences in stitching, measurements, or brushstrokes are part of the character of handmade work and should not be considered defects.

Every effort is made to ensure the highest quality and careful finishing of each piece.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns are accepted only in the case of manufacturing defects or damage during delivery.

If you receive an item with a defect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and include photos of the issue so we can assist you.

Because many items are produced in small batches or made to order, returns for preference or change of mind are not accepted.

Wall Art Prints

Wall art prints are produced and fulfilled through a professional printing partner.

If a print arrives damaged during shipping or with a printing defect, please contact us and provide photos of the damage. A replacement will be arranged.

Returns are not accepted for prints unless they arrive damaged.
